Note

I would like to introduce you to the people very instrumental for my passion for genealogy. They are
John Walker Mayberry and Mahulda Ann (Allen?) Easley. John is the great grandson of Frederick Mayberry, Sr. through his son Henry Maybery, Sr. and Henry's son Henry Mayberry, Jr. John, who mostly went by the name Walker, was born in 1813 in Hickman Co., TN.

Mahulda is the daughter of John Easley and Sally Shores. She was born in 1819 in MS and married John about 1837 in Hickman Co., John and Mahulda ultimately moved their family to Gatesville, Coryell Co., TX.

They raised 10 children, 7 daughters and 3 sons in that order. John was a farmer and served a term as Justice of the Peace. He died in September 1876 and was buried in the City Cemetery in Gatesville. I am descended from their youngest son, Thomas Alfred Mayberry, and Tom's youngest daughter, Willie Alvera Mayberry.
