Note
|
On the records of the Charles Buck, the ship on which she came over from England, she is listed as being one year old. Her family's address in England was 11 Bissell Street, Bookhouse, Birmingham. The Charles Buck sailed January 17, 1855, and Master Franklin D. Richards was the agent. I have been unable to locate death records on her. The old Family Group records show May 1855 as her death date, so I'm not sure whether she died aboard the ship or if she made it all the way to Utah. She is not listed in the Index to Utah County Cemetaries. Histories say that they did not reach Springville until fall of 1855, so she probably died en route somewhere. |
