Obituary for Chnarley W. Crissey:

Resident of Illinois for 35 yrs, most of the time in Springfield. He was engaged in the poultry business and was crippled by paralysis induced by sickness. He had not walked for 25 years. He still led an active life as a farmer and traveling merchant and huckster and amassed a considerable amount of property. He was a man of patience and cheerfulness and hopefulness. Unselfish and loyal devotion to his friends and who were in need of his sympathy and help.

Married April 14, 1892 to Mrs. Nettie Hall, who survived him. Children surviving him were Mrs. Stephen Crissey and Mrs. William Duey.
