Petition for Probate of Will
To the honorable Francis E. Baldwin Judge of said court. Your petitioner, George P. Davis, represents unto your honor that the instrument in writing, herewith filed, purports to be the last Will and Testament of John R. Davis who died on the 13th day of July A. D. 1909, at Jacksonville and who at the time of his death was a resident of the city of Jacksonville in the County and State aforesaid. That said decedent left surviving him the following persons, his only heirs at law:
Esther W. Davis his widow residing at Jacksonville, Illinois; Lillian (?) Davis daughter residing at Jacksonville, Illinois; Esther Davis daughter residing at Jacksonville, Illinois.
That in said instrument in writing the following persons who are not heirs at law of said decedent are named as legatees or devisees:
Albert R. Davis residing at 1516 Pacific ave (?) San Francisco, Cal.; George P. Davis residing at Jacksonville, Illinois; Mary Davis Henry (?) residing at Jacksonville, Illinois; Sarah Kershaw residing at Jacksonville, Illinois.
And your petition er prays that said instrument in writing be admitted to probate in this Court as the last Will and Testament of the said decedent.

Davis, deceased, by virtue of an order of the county court of Morgan county, Illinois, in said estate will on Saturday, March 19, A.
