Petition for Probate of Will
To the honorable Francis E. Baldwin Judge of said court. Your petitioner, George P. Davis, represents unto your honor that the instrument in writing, herewith filed, purports to be the last Will and Testament of John R. Davis who died on the 13th day of July A. D. 1909, at Jacksonville and who at the time of his death was a resident of the city of Jacksonville in the County and State aforesaid. That said decedent left surviving him the following persons, his only heirs at law:
Esther W. Davis his widow residing at Jacksonville, Illinois; Lillian (?) Davis daughter residing at Jacksonville, Illinois; Esther Davis daughter residing at Jacksonville, Illinois.
That in said instrument in writing the following persons who are not heirs at law of said decedent are named as legatees or devisees:
Albert R. Davis residing at 1516 Pacific ave (?) San Francisco, Cal.; George P. Davis residing at Jacksonville, Illinois; Mary Davis Henry (?) residing at Jacksonville, Illinois; Sarah Kershaw residing at Jacksonville, Illinois.
And your petition er prays that said instrument in writing be admitted to probate in this Court as the last Will and Testament of the said decedent.

Davis, deceased, by virtue of an order of the county court of Morgan county, Illinois, in said estate will on Saturday, March 19, A. D. 1910, at the hour of 2 o'clock p. m. of the said day at the south door of the court house, in the city of Jacksonville, Illinois, offer for sale and sell at public sale to the highest and best bidder, for cash in hand on the day of sale, the following described real estate situated in the city of Jacksonville, county of Morgan and state of Illinois, to wit: Lots three (3) and six (6) in Duncan Grove addition tot he city of Jacksonville, Illinois; Also lot forty-three (43) in King, Dayton & Adams addition tot he city of Jacksonville, Illinois, excepting eighty (80) feet off of the north end  thereof, and also excepting eight (8) feet off of the east side of the south one hundred and sixty-three (163) feet thereof; Also lots three (3), four (4), eight (8), and nine (9) in Davis & Heinl's re-subdivision of lot two (2) in block thirty-three (33) City addition tot he city of Jacksonville, Illinois; Also part of lots two (2) and (3) in block ten (10) in the City addition tot he city of Jacksonville, bounded and described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point sixty-eight (68) feet and one-half (1/2) inch north and three (3) feet and one-half (1/2) inch west of the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of section twenty (20) in township fifteen (15) north and range ten (10) west of the third principal meridian, and running thence west fifty (50) feet and six (6) inches, thence north two hundred and one (201) feet and three and 3/4 (3 3/4) inches, thence east forty-eight (48) feet and eight (8) inches and thence south two hundred and one (201) feet and three and 3/4 (3 3/4) inches to the place of beginning; Also lots one (1), four (4), seven (7), thirteen (13), sixteen (16) and nineteen (19) in Reid & Capps' addition tot he city of Jacksonville, Illinois; Also lot one (1) in Dunlap's addition tot he city of Jacksonville, Ill. Also lots one (1), eight (8), nine (9), ten (10), eleven (11), twelve (12), thirteen (13), fourteen (14), fifteen (15), sixteen (16), eighteen (18) and nineteen (19) in John R. Davis' addition to the city of Jacksonville, Illinois,except ten (10) feet off of the north side of lot eighteen (18).
